Anna Whitney
UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER
Chemical Engineering & BioEngineering Department
Bio
Anna grew up in Newfields, New Hampshire, where she was a track and field star (you can google it to see the disappointing stats yourself). Like others in the group, she spent the majority of her time yapping instead of perfecting the art of disc throwing; which incidentally was the skillset that Tsavalas (a Greek, if he hasn't told you yet) has been searching for for seemingly millennia. The discus part - not the yapping part. Tsavalas has already perfected the art of yapping.
Anna is a sophomore chemical engineering student, interested in the field of pharmaceuticals. Her organizational skills are unmatched as she is able to fit every lecture’s worth of notes onto one page. Catch her around UNH providing unsolicited fun facts to everyone.
As a recent addition to the Tsavalas lab, she is hoping to gather more research skills and find the project for her in Spring of 2025
Project 1: blah blah blah - Something to do with a discus or shot put ... OR, maybe to do with aggregation of monoclonal antibody (polymer nanoparticle mimics thereof)...
Coming Soon
This space will be used to describe Anna's first project, when ready!

Don't let those stats fool you, fool. I can throw a discus WAY farther than you.
